Review by: Justyn Brodsky
An audio and visual experience into versatility, emotion, and a mainstream sound with insatiable likabiliity factors. Leon Rockmore‘s official vid for “Live at 5 (Feat. Lyric Wright) is one of those tracks your are bound to like from the second it starts.
What I love about music videos is the way it adds components to the overall atmosphere; both for the song and visual aspect itself. With choppy editing tricks to esteemed views of cityscapes, this is a ride for the ears, eyes, heart, and soul alike.
Rockmore has a very broad range of style, effectiveness in his rhymes, and dynamic lyrical content. It’s a true piece of Indie Art with extraordinary cinemotagraphy, top-notch production value, and lots of flavor to keep this song memorable as well as unique. With R&B sensibilities carrying a torch in the beat, the drive of this song gives a strong, elite likability factors for anyone that appreciates today’s Hip Hop/R&B sounds, encompassed by yesterday’s influences as part of the integration.
The track is smooth, the camera work in cinematic, charismatic, and in the forefront of the aura. The audio and imagery share perfect parallels in this song, and I can’t stress how much you’re gonna love it. Leon Rockmore has a great catalog of music under his belt already as a renowned Hip Hop artist and writer, and if you’re just discovering him now, “Live at 5” is one of the best tracks to start with. I guarantee you’ll wanna hear more after hearing this one.
