Artist Review: Woochia – “Bus” Single

This London-based Producer of Music & Videography displays a lot of versatility and character depth as an artist with his Melodic-oriented Techno.

Woochia, a French Artist & Producer with his own crafty signature sound, is a very dynamic and effective songwriter and composer behind the mixing board, and processes heavily every-day sounds to create smooth and melodic techno tunes. Inspired by progressive rock bands such as Tool or Rishloo, he strongly implements wide atmospheres and ambient meditation sounds and moods in his music.

His single “Bus” is quite a ride. It’s a well-executed buildup as the track plays on and, like said, has very melodic signature moods and components that drive this song to keep building ontop of its formula as the track began. There are some twists and turns in the measures ahead, but they’re very appropriately fitted for the song. It also keeps you focused, but at the same time, relaxed and soothed by the subtle changes of how strong or delicate the moods shift.

Woochia definitely leaves a great impression on you as a Producer; one that knows the mixing board like the back of his own hand. But his compositions, especially with his diversity of EDM and the melodic components that really add the flavor to the overall mix.

This is a very promising track for those who haven’t discovered Woochia yet. It’s a song that will leave a strong impression on you. And will make you morbidly curious to hear what the rest of the EP has in store.
