Artist Review: Guest Actors – “By Demand” Single

When it comes to simple musical formulas that can leave the biggest impact, Guest Actors’ single, “By Demand”, is the one of those songs that demonstrate this method perfectly.

With a subtle and ambient sound that portrays love, sensuality, and a realm of emotion, Guest Actors, from Tel Aviv, encompass a very effective and well-executed signature sound that keeps you listening and more interested each time you listen to this particular single. Their traditional song structure and chord progressions in this song leave plenty of room for incredible vocal melodies that give this track the power it needs to warm your heart and soothe your ears.

It’s a track that isn’t smothered in post-production obnoxiousness. It’s a chemistry among the quartet that speaks volumes and focuses on songwriting that is more effective and astonishingly catchy rather than experimental or genre-bending. It’s a beautiful track and sounds more like an anthem rather than just another song. A very blissful showcase of moods from start to finish with an impression on you that will be anything but a letdown.

Guest Actors are a breath of fresh air. A band that lets us know that spectacular songwriting still exists and proving that it’s the simple things that can have the biggest effect on you. And that’s one of the defining factors that makes “By Demand” the gem that it really is.
