Artist Review: Aynxt – “Sweat” Single

This artist is highly acclaimed, and rightfully so. But when it comes to reviewing just one song of his, it’s almost hard to find the words.

With a several-octave vocal range doused with spot-on harmonies in a Soulful touch to the EDM sensibility, Aynxt‘s new single “Sweat” is an explosion of versatility and undeniable talent with his dynamic signature sound and image equally, leaving you with a Justin Timberlake-meets-Jamiroquai type of track that is infectious, breathless, and charismatically electric.

Basically, this song is anything but a letdown. The insatiable catchiness of every melody is in the forefront with a multifaceted beat and progression setting the foundation to the song’s overall formula. It’s a great chemistry, and this artist’s likability factors in the vocal department is absolutely one of the defining factors to this track in every way.

The verses are subtle and build up in a way that doesn’t leave you lingering. It’s a perfect showcase of the mid-ranged vocals before the explosive chorus comes in; which I believe is the best way to showcase Aynxt altogether. 

“Sweat” completely blindsided me with the talent factors and at-times genre-bending moments that really give birth to this song. The production value doesn’t stray away from putting Aynxt‘s vocals in the forefront, and the song progression and structure fits perfectly in a track with this kind of persona. Regardless, “Sweat” is a huge breath of fresh air.
