Album Review: Blaze – “Born To Blaze” LP

If you are looking for a highly spiritual and captivating record with a great story-telling method, then Triunion Music artist Blaze‘s Born To Blaze will not let you down.

This Christian Hip Hop artist brings spirituality to a whole new level that really grasps at your heart and your mind. Blaze‘s album is versatile, multifaceted, and incredibly charismatic with his vocal deliveries and inspirational lyrical content that gets to the heart of real life situations. It’s extremely deep, passionate, and a joy to behold.

The beats incorporate many different genre elements and make great use of instrumentation and plugins. Each track is ambient and really flows together with Blaze‘s messages perfectly, and also showcases a handful of feature artists that really add artistic merit to this record.

One track that really stands out is the opener, “I Surrender (feat. Sarah McTiernan)”. With a soulful female-vocal hook cruising through this song, Blaze really hits the ground running with his spiritual lyrics and clever narrative. With elements of ambient Rock and Reggae influences that add many different moods to this track, you can’t help but fall head over heals with this record immediately. It’s an opening track that lets you know that you’ll be listening to every track on this album from start to finish.

Each track on Born To Blaze not only provides us with Blaze‘s signature style, but offers up something new and effective in every measure. You won’t hear the same song twice, but you’ll know it’s coming from the same artist; and that’s a very hard feat to reach in today’s mainstream market.
