Cover Art of the King C.P debut Album/LP

Nothing beats a solid Hip Hop record with versatility, authenticity and artistic merit. After 3 years of relentless hard work along with ups and downs during the prospective process, King C.P‘s debut album ‘The Evolution’ has come to fruition with a collection of 11 solid tracks that showcase his musicianship factors as well as lyrical technique; and this album explores the facets of all that and so much more.

‘The Evolution’ is an album packed full of ambient and anthemic songs that encapsulate King‘s talent from the very first track. He quickly develops a signature stylization right from the jump and really sinks his teeth into effective bars and hooks that are mixed diligently to the forefront of the production value. One of my favorite things about this record is…it’s a debut record, a freshman release that raises the bar very high when it comes to an artist’s humble beginnings.

One major standout of this album is the track “Good Investment,” a street banger that puts many multifaceted angles of King‘s lyrical ability. His rhythmic flow is made apparent from the beginning but he utilizes different styles that are not only effective, but crucial as well. It’s a standout of the record and is the type of track to reel you in as an instant fan. Overall, ‘The Evolution’ is a must-hear for 2020 and can be found on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music and several other digital music streaming platforms.
