Exclusive Artist Review: Ron Hamrick – “You Hear Me Say I Love You” Single

Very few artists have the hands-on experience like veteran musician Ron Hamrick does. He’s been active for several decades and amassed critical acclaim with his regional #1 hit song “This Is The Time” in 1967, getting critical airplay in the mid-west on anchor radio stations including Chicago’s WLS. He was inducted into the Michigan Rock & Roll Legends Hall of Fame in 2011 and also charted on the Billboard in 2015 with his hit song “Livin’ In a Small Town” which charted for 12 weeks and peaked at #2 on the Top 10 Billboard Hot Singles chart, only behind The Rolling Stones’ 50 year anniversary release of “Satisfaction”.

Since 2016, Hamrick emerged exclusively as a solo artist and began laying his foundation in the state of Virginia where he has resided for the last 30+ years. His discography is very extensive and he has mastered a signature sound that is vital and versatile. And with his upcoming anthemic single “You Hear Me Say I Love You”, he continues to prove that his songwriting skill set is at the top of his game. Utilizing an approach that is visceral and authentic, Hamrick‘s newest effort really showcases his vocals and songwriting right out in the forefront. It shines the perfect spotlight on every layer of this song and really encapsulates the aura that Hamrick implements in every measure. Sharing a scarcely unique reminiscence to John Lennon’s smash hit “Imagine”, this track’s impact hits you right at the core and provides the perfect moods to parallel the overall song structure.
