Exclusive Review: Lorenzo Gabanizza – “All The Words We Never Said” & “No Love At All” singles

A classic, versatile sound is very hard to come by. And when it does, it becomes unforgettable and nostalgic. It becomes a part of you, a part of your music taste and a part of your inspiration to discover amazing underground artists. One of these artists is Lorenzo Gabanizza, a singer/songwriter active since the 80s with an eclectically multifaceted signature style, and an insatiable passion to create. His anchor singles “All The Words We Never Said” and “No Love At All” are very anthemic, powerful and unwaveringly catchy. And they are standouts in every way, equally.

Both of these songs are extremely well put together and beautifully composed. “All The Words We Never Said” is a beautiful buildup of emotions that glistens with tasty acoustic guitar parts and mid-to-high range vocal melodies that give this song endless character traits. The keyboard parts continue this buildup and really ties the song together with Gabanizza‘s stylish vocal vibratos and upper 3rd and 5th harmonies that showcase his singing abilities from several effective angles. This song will simply amaze you, and you’ll definitely be coming back to it time and time again.

“No Love At All” is a stroke of twangy goodness with folky guitar picking techniques and three part harmonies that encompass the aspect of precision. This song has a bossa nova drumbeat with piano parts that add the perfect layers and textures, and you can really hear Gabanizza‘s versatility in his songwriting structures that have excellent balance and composure. Both songs sound very different, but you know it’s coming from the same artist. Both of these tracks will have you researching more of Gabanizza‘s releases, both past and future.

Exclusive Review: Bedroom Ceilings: “Clairvoyance Is Never Simple” Single

A lot of blood, sweat and tears goes into creating and composing music. The longer you do it, the more you develop a signature sound and niche as a musician. When you combine two musicians that hone their crafts with an aspect of composing their signature sounds into one dynamic unit, you get indie-duo Bedroom Ceilings. With their sophomore album ‘Another Bulb Burned Out’ coming close to its release date, the indie rockers have been teasing their fan base with singles from the record and building an insatiable buzz. Their newest track “Clairvoyance Is Never Simple” is one of them.

Comprised of songwriter/composer Dean Chittenden and multi-instrumentalist Ben Steer, Bedroom Ceilings comes to fruition beautifully with their ambient guitar parts, atmospheric vocal melodies and indie/folk rock approach reminiscent of Copeland, Coldplay, and even the Beatles. Bringing acoustic grooves and rhythmic Blues to the forefront with sensual vocal techniques that speak to the soul, recording artist Katie Veltri encompasses new ambient territory with her newest single “Catch Me”.

“Catch Me” is definitely catchy. It’s a timeless track with jazzy guitar chord progressions that really facilitate the anthemic vocal melodies to make each measure really count. Katie‘s voice is tender, natural, and really puts emphasis on how she projects every line of her clever lyrics this song has to offer as the track plays out. The guitars also have a spiciness and aura that brings a true uniqueness to the modern rhythm this song blends in. It shares a classic feel while still embracing a modern take on today’s more versatile pop-infused genres.

Put simply, this song is very hard to dislike. It has very powerful vocals that shine bright in the forefront. Artist Review: UnaVerSoul KING – “A Bottle Of Wine” Single

A lot of artists focus more on the performance aspect, along with their image and presentation. But then there is the magic from behind the scenes. And elite songwriter/lyricist UnaVerSoul KING (real name Terry Davis) is one of those artists that makes that magic happen, and we get a clear demonstration of that with the single “A Bottle Of Wine”.

This acoustic track, with guitar and vocals performed by a female Canadian studio session musician, is a multifaceted yet simple song that has diligent chord progressions and intelligently crafted melodies throughout every measure. The track, solely written and arranged by UnaVerSoul KING, showcases an arrangement of glistening guitar parts with perfect parallels to the melody choices of the song. The lyrical narrative is very anthemic and has an infectiously catchy chorus that really sticks with you.

The single also has great production value that gives the song a sense of an instant classic feel. There’s no post-production theatrics or convoluted recording techniques to distract you from the song’s authenticity. It’s a track that is uplifting, fun, and delivers the impact where it’s intended; and really hits home where the heart is. Return Trip Project embraces this sound and concept with their own versatile take on the genre, and really delve into impressively high range female-fronted vocals that brings true essence to the Tarantella signature sound.
