Neoborn Caveman has graced our platform before. And the more we get to know him, the more versatility of his musical stature comes to light. His single “12 Ways of Love” is definitely a rollercoaster ride of one of his many angles of multifaceted goodness that truly shines on a path that bridges the gap between originality and familiarity; giving us even more insight into NC‘s soundscapes and artistic merit.

Utilizing a more electronically infused signature sound, from beginning to end, NC‘s vocals resonate both lyrically and rhythmically parallel. And that’s what makes this song truly unique – we get to indulge into NC‘s vocal abilities in ways that are multilayered with standouts of their own.

The usage of EDM is very anthemic and organized. Everything flows melodically much like his other material, but, “12 Ways of Love” is a modern treat for the ears that brings forth a futuristic sound that is also comprised of many familiar vocal melody structuring. And that’s another facet of this song – structuring. We get genre-bending elements that are surprising but still smoothly transitioned in a way that doesn’t throw the song off. Oh, and the subtlety in NC‘s voice manages to sustain perfectly alongside his musical character. The many elements used to suspend every measure of this song is chosen wisely and crafted carefully. This song has twists and turns, but never strays from its actual foundation that the track starts with. “12 Ways Of love” is one big dose of versatility with its own sense of sweetness, splendor and charm all doused in one electronic package of compelling production value.

“12 Ways of Love” releases August 31st and will be available everywhere including all digital music streaming platforms.

Artist Review: Bami – “Stream Of His Grace” EP

Captivatingly talented with her voice and spiritually authentic in her message, rising Gospel artist Bami brings us on a modernized journey into the realms of uplifting our Faith in God with her much awaited versatile new EP Streaming Of His Grace.

Bami‘s sound is explosive, multifaceted and graciously fun with a ton of multi-genre additives and flavorful beats on this 4-track record. Her electronically-infused sound combines an array of funky riffs, hypnotic jazzy tempos and a salsa/tropical and Latin edge that brings out her voice very effectively and tastefully. Her mid-ranged voice tackles very spiritual content about her Faith in the Lord and really brings a new and fresh approach to the legacy of Gospel music with her compellingly dynamic production and highly intricate song structures.

Delving into the songs themselves, the musicianship factors are unwavering. The rhythmic tempos are extremely neat and tidy and grasp onto composition techniques reminiscent of many jazz and fusion eras, but that’s just one of many components. Her Pop elements also add to the intuitive song structures and really helps carry Bami‘s voice in a way that is front and center, with very tasteful melodies in her vocal approach that resonate perfectly with the bluesy rhythms and chord progressions. This is a modern day triumph of Gospel music that could easily take on a life of its own, and really showcases an amazing range of production techniques and songwriting structures that are rare in Gospel music, if not new altogether.

The most striking part of Streaming Of His Grace is the originality. The record does not emulate any other artist and Bami really delves into a signature sound that is in her own right. You can draw comparisons to her if you think hard enough, but there’s no question that her approach in Gospel is anything but ordinary. If you’re looking for a spiritual record that is also musically fascinating and compelling, then Streaming Of His Grace will absolutely blow your mind.

Artist Review: TBJ & Holy Nation – “My Audience Is The Lord” Single

With voices of spirit, energy of life, and true passion for the Lord, Gospel powerhouse TBJ & Holy Nation lift our spirits and faith in great proportions with their newest single “My Audience Is My Lord”.

Performing with outstanding charisma and a choir of God-gifted vocal ranges that are vibrant and powerful, we get an astonishing and captivating song that is both spiritually motivated and musically multifaceted. The song, released in June 2018, is based off a very compelling and inspirational story of a woman that had intentions of taking her own life, and by the power of realization that God has always been there for her, had therefore changed the trajectory of her life and ultimately saving it through his power, as well as the help of another person who reminded her that her faith is strong – and that you can get through anything. And that’s what “My Audience Is The Lord” is about – overcoming the darkness and guiding yourself to light through the power of the Lord, and to always believe.

The musicianship is amazing from beginning to end. It starts off strong and is unwavering to the very last measure. Their signature sound is Broadway worthy and is not in the realm of your typical church choir. This group is incredibly melodic, precise, inspirational and a constant reminder that your faith is always strong. It’s a song that can lift you up even at your rock bottom. A song that has glistening voices and a high spirited nature that has positivity that can spread anywhere and everywhere to all those who have the Lord in their heart, or are still searching for stable ground to walk on.

TBJ & Holy Nation really hit it out of the park with this song, and the message is just as powerful as the music. They’re a group that will inspire you, as well as bring you to new heights in your faith in the Lord as well as your love for Gospel. This song truly sings to your soul.

Album Review: Eddy Mann – “Worship In Spirit And Truth” LP

It’s rare nowadays to find an artist that spiritually captivated you in the way Eddy Mann does. With his new album Worship In Spirit And Truth, we delve into a realm of authentic musicianship and inspirational songs that soothe your soul and bring your faith to greater heights.

Before the album released on October 5th, we got a taste of the record with the album’s opening track “Every Little Thing.” A sensually uplifting song that introduces us to one of the many chapters this album takes us through. Eddy‘s vocals are on point and have a vibrant feel with great control. His voice is very multifaceted and he implements very effective melodies into every song, focusing on the key points of his songwriting structures that really put the musicianship factors at the forefront.

One thing you will notice though is Eddy‘s signature sound and overall aura as an artist. Each track offers up a new angle of Eddy‘s ability and between his bluesy guitar swells and ambient vocal style, we get a special treat every time. His lyrical content strongly focuses on the worshipping aspect and really encompasses the light that faith in the Lord can have in those that see and hear Eddy‘s music and the messages that are delivered.

The production value on this album are versatile and never rehash the same ingredients, and aren’t afraid to explore different avenues of mastering a song in its own right. However, the best part about this album is despite hearing a different approach in May of these songs, you can immediately recognize Eddy‘s signature sound and artistic merit, putting his spiritual touch on every track and every melody that is graced within.

This is an album for anyone and everyone that really appreciates a musically spiritual atmosphere, and really puts their faith in the Lord in whole. Eddy Mann has been a continued vital voice for songs of worship, and Worship In Spirit And Truth is another masterpiece added to his legacy as an artist and creator.

Artist Review: Shining Force

For those of you who yearn for heavy metal’s epic years of Iron Maiden’s Number of the Beast, the entire Judas Priest catalogue, and Metallica’s first 3 albums…we have a special treat for you.

We have another reason not to mess with Texas. These Pasadena rockers are bringing back a sound that never left in the first place. Christian/Metal band Shining Force by way of solid guitar riffs and a stampede of a rhythm section remind us that true metal is still at the heart of all metal fans alike, despite the additives to the genre over the years (i.e.: core, black, death, speed, nu, melodic, and any other word you can attach).

Starting off with their track “Rapture”, we get served up with some unstoppable energy and guitar riffs that cruise into a very melodic and in-your-face verse. The vocals sustain an impressive range and definitely have a Maiden-worthy vibrato that sets the classic tone for their take on heavy metal’s glory days. There are powerful drum films, very well-crafted dueling guitars and a heavy hitting overall dynamic.

Cruising over to the title track of their upcoming album, the energy and innovation is still ever present in “By the Blood”. A track that offers up more integrated songwriting techniques and play on tempos. The guitars are very gain-fueled, crisp, and crawl right under your skin. It’s impossible to ignore the string-attack this song has and once again, we have a vocal range that was born for this breed of metal. A breed that has manifested into endless influences for today’s modern metal, and a legacy that fuels itself through bands like Shining Force. Just like all the metal greats that sit in your collection, Shining Force fits right in, and helps push the legacy onward.

The band is embarking on a full U.S. Tour this summer in support of the upcoming anticipated album, By the Blood. An album you will be very glad you purchased when it’s released.
