When Wicked Th3o claims to go against the norms, it’s not only accurate, but understated as well. He’s the type of artist you need to hear to believe, and for good reason.

Far from your typical artist, Wicked Th3o‘s uniqueness comes in the form of shape shifting goodness. Utilizing a persona that is comprised of robots and ETs in a futuristic realm, his self titled 5-track EP has been making shockwaves across the landscape in epic fashion. His EDM-influenced Hip Hop flavors are rhythmic, controversial, brilliant and crafty. His rhymes and bars tell stories from his mechanical heart, and those that may have underestimated him in the past have regretted doing so. The two major standouts on this EP are definitely “Pacman Returns” and “Breaking The Chains”, both which are versatile and multifaceted. “Pacman Returns” fits in perfectly with other chart toppers and has verses with untouchable swagger, while “Breaking The Chains” has that anthemic chorus that has insatiable staying power; the power to stay with you even after it’s long over.

His signature sound touches on equal parts originality and familiarity, giving his audience a taste of something fresh yet still identifiable. His unyielded success since his inception is reminiscent of a passionate kid with money on his mind, but still with endless love in his heart. Either way, Wicked Th3o is the type of artist that loves to inspire and be inspired. He’s your favorite artist’s favorite artist and a major force within the spectrum. When it comes to this EP’s production value, it has a perfected blend of balance and composure. It boasts a cleverly tailored style that underground fans will undoubtedly appreciate, but still has its place anchored among the mainstream charts. If he keeps up this pace, he will skyrocket to the top and your likelihood of stopping him will be essentially nil. He has successfully amassed over 140,000 plays and has built a collective following that drastically surpasses today’s average Hip Hop artist. Again, he’s an artist you need to hear to believe, and you’ll be beyond happy that you did.
